Christmas Cookies

Les dejo esta rica receta de navidad para que la puedan hacer en familia y pasar un lindo momento.


· 200 gr of Dates
· 100 gr of Almonds
· 150 gr of Brown Sugar
· 100 gr of room temperature Butter
· 2 Eggs
· 300 gr of Whole Wheat Flour
· ¼ teaspoon of Bicarbonate
· ½ teaspoon of Ginger
· 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
· Christmas Cookie Cutters

· 1 Egg White
· 200 gr of Powdered Sugar
· Lemon Juice
· “Nativ for Life” superfruit powders  (as colorings)
· Edible beads to decorate (optional)



Place the dates, almonds, ginger, vanilla extract, 50 gr of brown sugar and a small amount of water (approximately a tablespoon) in a food processor. Process ingredients until they become a paste.

Place the mixture in a bowl and add the butter and the remaining brown sugar and mix well.

Add the eggs, bicarbonate and whole wheat flour. Mix until well combined.

Wrap the dough in transparent film paper and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180º C. Meanwhile, roll out the dough between two sheets of waxed paper.  Cut with the cookie cutters.

Bake the cookies at 180º C for 12-15 minutes. 

Let them cool on a rack.


Mix the powdered sugar with one tablespoon of either maqui or cranberry powder.

Once the cookies are cool, place the egg white in a bowl and slowly add the sugar with the maqui or cranberry powder while you whisk. Mix until you’ve reached your desired consistency. Add some lemon juice drops.

Unleash your creativity and decorate your cookies with edible beads and your frosting coloured with “Nativ for Life” powders. Allow the frosting to dry and enjoy.
